BlackBox Migrations, LLC (doing business as BlackBox Partners) is a project and risk management training company. BlackBox has delivered classroom courses for over 3,000 students in over two dozen countries on 5 continents in the last decade. Our virtual courses, delivered since 2015, have served students in even more locations.
BlackBox focuses on “heavy” industry – manufacturing, energy, and transportation, but is also experienced in healthcare, telecommunications, information technology, and government. BlackBox courses are aligned with global standards such as the International Standards Organization’s ISO 31010 Risk Assessment standard and Project Management Institute’s project management methodology and processes. But we are also careful to tailor our work to the work, processes, and templates of the host organization. BlackBox works with customers to draw classroom examples from the work of the participants. This makes the topics less academic and more practical to the learners.
BlackBox is experienced in virtual classroom training. We deliver courses virtually using the GoToTraining® tool as our default platform, but have experience delivering virtual training on other platforms at client request. Past sessions have hosted students spread across 10 countries on a common electronic platform. We use electronic breakout groups for the students to apply concepts being learned.
The firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business certified by the Center for Veterans’ Enterprise of the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Our offices are in Galveston, Texas.
