Tony Johnson, President/Founder
A proven leader, business owner, author, trainer and product developer with 20+ years of experience. Industry experience includes telecom, hardware and software development, commerce, marketing, IT infrastructure and support, financial and higher education.
Tony has authored 40 books since 2004 as well as numerous other learning products for various PMI and IIBA credentials. Tony has helped created over 100,000 of the PMPs on planet earth. Tony has contributed to the last three PMBOK Guides, program and portfolio management standards, as well as being a core team member of the Seventh Edition PMBOK Guide with PMI.
Also possessing the following credentials PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-PBA, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, CSPO, CSM, CAPM, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, Project+, CCBA, PMI-ACP, CBAP.
Joanne has a BS in Computer Science, a BA in Business Administration & a Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University, where she now serves as a Facilitator for an innovation Masters-level course. She is also a student at Capella University, pursuing her Ph.D. in Project Management.
Emil Tarka, Board Member/Founder
Emil is a project management specialist with extensive teaching and consulting experience in various industries for the past 15 years. As founder and CEO of Tarka Consulting Inc., he has been involved in the training and delivery of project management courses at numerous universities and colleges as well as multiple corporations. He has extensive knowledge in managing education, healthcare, military and oil and gas programs and projects in challenging environments.
Emil earned his BA in International Studies at the University of Northern British Columbia and his MA from the Jageillonian University in International Relations.
Through his expertise he has consulted for multiple organizations on best project management practices and delivered information sessions, workshops, and focus groups aimed at diverse stakeholders, while recognizing the need for streamlining operations and developing procedures to ensure program unity.
Eric Verzuh is President of The Versatile Company. The Versatile Company has been improving projects for its clients since 1990 through training and consulting. Versatile’s easy-to-understand framework for creating and managing projects has been used across every industry including aerospace, higher education, healthcare, and technology.
Verzuh’s book, The Fast Forward MBA in Project Management, which is currently in its fifth edition, is the leading project management guidebook used by universities and working professionals around the world.
Rick has extensive national experience as an IT consultant, network engineer, trainer and project manager. Before founding Camus Consulting, he was a partner in Idea2Group, a web design and consulting firm with a specialization in Project Management.
He has also been a Vice President at MicroTrain, engaged in training, curriculum development and sales, and has held the Electronics Department Chair at the New England Technical Institute. Rick has earned Certified Training Credentials with both Microsoft and Cisco. He holds degrees in Computer Networking and Electronics and has earned bachelor’s degrees from Rockford College and Arizona State University. Rick has also attained a Masters Degree in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University. Rick holds the following certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, MCSE, ITIL, A+, Project+, and CCNA.
